Swansea’s Green Fayre is back once again and it’s Environment Centre organisers are expecting thousands of visitors to attend the popular event, taking place over the weekend of 19th and 20th November 2016 at the National Waterfront Museum.
The Green Fayre is a truly unique shopping experience with the environment and ethics at its heart. Visitors can expect to discover fresh tasty local produce and talented craftspeople offering green festive gifts, and be inspired by local volunteer projects and campaign groups alongside experts offering top tips on how to live more sustainably.
There will be over 70 stalls including Organic and Fairtrade products, local woodcraft, upcycled clothes and accessories, renewable energy and energy saving advice, local honey and preserves, local artists, vegetarian and vegan food, green voluntary groups and local campaigns and much more.
The Fayre will feature the BMW i3, an electric car designed with sustainable mobility in mind. The entire production process for the i3 is completely powered from renewable energies, and 95% of the materials used in its construction are recyclable.
The Green Fayre is organised by the Environment Centre. With a programme of talks and activities that will showcase stalls. The event is FREE entry, the Green Fayre will be a great day out for all the family!
