Recycling rates in Swansea and across Wales have increased rapidly over the past decade and the waste sent to landfill has dropped, but how will the momentum be kept up?...
Swansea Environmental Forum (SEF) is holding its 2017 AGM event on Monday 2nd October at 7pm in the Environment Centre, and everyone is welcome.
Over its 30 year existence, SEF was been responsible for setting-up projects such as the Environment Centre, Sustainable Swansea, Clear Streams Swansea, Low Carbon Swansea Bay and supporting many other initiatives. It also plays an important strategic role – publishing and managing the Swansea Environment Strategy and representing the environmental sector in strategic partnerships.
The short formal AGM proceedings will be followed by a presentation on the Forum’s achievements and an open discussion on SEFs future priorities and activities – your chance to help shape what the Forum focuses on in the next few years. The agenda for the event and the Annual Report / Annual Accounts for 2016/17 will be posted on the SEF website before the event and copies will also be available at the meeting.
Light refreshments will be provided at the event so to help them plan appropriately please email them if you intend to go along – firstname.lastname@example.org.
