A new project has been launchedĀ which aimsĀ to tackle barriers to transport and travel through initiatives that are led by communities. The project involves a broad partnership headed up by Swansea Council for Voluntary Services, 4theRegion and SEF, and is funded through the UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund. This project is has several different aspects but one of the first things is to have direct and honest conversations with those that experience difficulties in getting around and accessing services, and to find out more about the challenges they face and how communities could be supported to resolve these. For more information, please go to the Swansea CVS project webpage: Community-led transport solutions

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? We have launched a simple survey to help us gather information and we encourage everyone to participate and pass on the link to those that may have useful information and experience to share with us. Here is the link directly to the survey: Getting Around Swansea Survey.
